Al Langenfeld and Greg Slager
Al Langenfeld showed up at Build Better Bridge Club on May 6 expecting to play with his regular partner, Bob. It took a while, but the fact came out that Bob was in another state playing golf. BBB guarantees a partner so things were shuffled around and Al and Greg Slager were paired. This put-together partnership went on to have a 75% game! Congratulations! It is one of the biggest games Cedar Rapids has ever had. It has been submitted to The Bridge Bulletin, which publishes games over 75%. Way to go, guys!
