Bridge Unit 163 made a great showing at the District 14 Grand National Team (GNT) Finals in Mason City this month. The team of Eli Jolley, Elizabeth Gotland, Eric McKee and Scott Spitze won the Flight “B” division, even though three members of the team are “C” players. In addition, Eli won the gold points he needed to become an ACBL Life Master.
Bill Kent’s team won the Open division, and Joe Pieper and Mark Patton’s team won the “A” division.
All winners will be going to the Summer Nationals in Toronto.
Last night we celebrated Eli’s attainment of Life Master status, and his team’s victory. Congratulations to all the winners, and best of luck in Toronto.
